spirit3foundation is a charitable purpose organization that is committed to supporting the production, consumption and distribution of food resources in communities that are financially insecure. We provide grants and funding for food-based initiatives to help build strong communities and self-sustaining families. Currently we are working alongside organizations and urban farmers throughout the Greater Detroit area.

s3f hosts Pop Up Provisions, a monthly fundraising event based in Ann Arbor featuring house smoked meats, scratch made dinners, small batch ice cream and local food from partner farms including organic herbs/vegetables, eggs, Michigan honey and more. All proceeds directly support gardening/farming initiatives, cooking and nutrition workshops and other food-related activities.
Our 2023 s3f grant recipients included Detroit Black Farmer Land Fund and Avalon Housing.
